- Next Thursday we head to Lake Kegonsa!! Please make sure your kiddos have their sunscreen, bug spray, appropriate clothing and shoes, hat, EXTRA WATER, a backpack to carry their lunch and water, listening ears and a great attitude :)
- Cross your fingers that the weather holds......we may need to pivot if it is raining or storming....
- This week we finished up and assessed for Unit 7 :)
- For the next 5 days of math, we will revisit some of the previous 5th grade standards that might need a little extra attention.
- Our May Number Corner is complete!!
- This week we continued to work on our end of year chapter book reading/projects!
- It is great to see them all with books in their hands :)
- Whenever we can find some time in these past few weeks, we will be doing some map skills learning about the United States.
- Our first chapter will focus on : Why is East Ferris running out of water while West Ferris is not?
- Our second chapter will focus on : Why does more rain form over West Ferris than East Ferris?
- Our third chapter will focus on : Why is there more water vapor getting cold over West Ferris than East Ferris?
- Our fourth chapter will focus on : Why is there more water vapor high up over West Ferris than East Ferris?
- Our fifth chapter will focus on : How can East Ferris turn wastewater into clean freshwater?
- We are finished with all of our SELS and Health lessons for the year.
- Randall Way Video for May is shared in your 5th grader's Google Classroom. Our May goal is 1,100 paws by being an ALLY to try and earn a popsicle treat.
